So I've come with the recent decision that I'm disconnecting myself mostly from the Web. Sites like Bear411, myspace, etc. Mainly because I waste alot of time waiting for something, in which nowadays its nothing. I have enough friends that I don't regularly see and I think its time for me to do so. So, I guess I'm leaving for a while, who knows.
I figure this, if anyone would really want to find me, they could always find out my email.
Time to breathe fresh air.
Edit: However I do plan to stick around here for a while. |

So this sunday ill be retiring my old Nintendo DS Lite red for a new matte black DSi. A lot of people are saying its the Wii but portable, I beg to differ, it still plays DS games except now you can use SD cards to hold downloaded games off the DSi shop. Its definitely no wii portable, but its definitely a good step in the right direction. The psp had these download market about a couple months before nintendo , which makes me question that the next iteration of protable game systems, you think they'll be wireless / download focused? |

Usually my birthday comes and goes. A small dinner with a friend or two, nothing big happens. I don't usually pump myself up for it. However this year im excited for my birthday because I know william is planning something. I hope I get to see a lot of my friends. Lol and here's hoping both parents remember its my birthday, lol they usually switch on forgetting its my birthday. |

I think now that my birthday is in 3 days, I think my new theme is going to be "if you seek amy". It definitely shows how moronic american media are for reporting obvious things just for ratings.

| A comeback |

So I guess I dissapeared for a few months. A lot has taken place, too much to chronicle. But in short im ok, alive and partnered. William and I celebrated our year anniversary on december 26th, and soon I'll be 23. As far as school, things are going alright as can be. I will be graduating in 2010, not because I have to but because of choice, I had a career goal change and I will persue my original college dream of developing video games. Ill be done with my degree in june, but I opted to stay on for another year to further increase my studies in video game design, by studying 3d modeling, level design, and game architecture in addition to my game programming classes. All taught with the same professor who thinks I have potential. Which is awesome.
This is my return and I plan to hold onto all my friends here on LJ. Its good to be back.

School has been back and forth for me the past week.
Ups
Downs.
Big Downs.
Big Ups.
So I had really REAAAAALLLLY failed my Operating Systems course. I could come with excuses but ultimately in the end I failed it. so bad that if I had a perfect score on my final I would have passed the course with a D and therefore damaging my preciouse GPA.
Note, my GPA Isn't good, but I need to push it above a 3, and its at 2.8, so I'm close.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show went off without a problem. Had a great time, and as my first time in my underware, wearing make up and dancing with a feathered boa, I have to give an Applause to Brad Majors for dealing with that stuff. I'm so glad i only did it once.
I think next semester I'll sit out of the acting role, and just focus on directing the show.
Friday I have a talk with my Academic advisor about my plans to graduating (since its comming up soon, YES!) and then she pulls of this shinanigans. Apparently in the 5 years we were working together, she forgot to tell me about this one class i need to take before I leave.
Wow, I think my brain died for a second there. After Negotiating that my goals have changed from artificial intelligence systems to video game design and that I was planning on taking 5 more additional courses for personal education, therefore I'll be staying an extra year
hopefully there would be some kind of way to work this out. She left me in the cold, but I just recieved word that we can go ahead with my plan.

Last Night I came home to our apartment from hanging out with my fraternity brother Brian.
William had already left for Denver.
It was after a few minutes I realized, he really made this apartment feel small.
now its big and empty, and cold. so I turned on the heat, but its still empty ish
except for Penelo, our dog.

However, at not a bad trade. William got hired for a job in union.
He leaves for training a couple days before my springbreak and is gone for all of it.

Assorted places, Maryland

| Things coming back into perspective |

You know, This has been the most demanding semester ever.
Not because the classes where handing out homework every class.
Because I wanted to be the best student in said classes. I pushed myself beyond what I thought I could do. This year I started taking classes in my field of interest, video games. I put so many countless hours into these classes. Something I would never do say... a year ago. Well the my hard work has paid off. and I might even make dean's list this semester. Ontop of that, it pushes my GPA to maybe a 3.0 which is way higher than the school's average.
And then ofcourse the 26th of December is approaching.
I was talking to my coworker Cathey yesterday, and I was telling her about the year in perspective. There was alot of changes that happen, and maybe I'll tell you guys what I've been up to for about a year, but in that conversation I said a truthful comment that slipped.
"I think I'm falling in love, with the same guy, all over again"
Its been a very give and take year in 08, but thats fine. I don't want "The perfect year 08" Senseless hope for happiness is dumb. Look around you, theres a million things that you should be either a) grateful for or b) happy about. You just don't notice it, because we take it for granted.
So what do I ask for 09? Well, simple. That society as a whole, take a step forward in the right direction. And ofcourse that I graduate; and you all are there for my spunktacular party. Ya'll can crash at my place!
I tell you what, this is what I learned from 08, Its all about taking a different perspective.
